James’ Chakra Balancing Yin class is simply not to be missed! I had such a good sleep after the Friday evening class. In fact, holding myself not to fall asleep during class ????. Highly recommended for those who enjoyed Yin like me.
James is a wonderful teacher! He's extremely patient, kind and encouraging. Being someone who have never done any sort of exercise before yoga, I have gotten so much from learning and practising with him. His classes are challenging and accommodating, he would teach you different ways to stretch and to get into difficult poses, whatever that works best for your body. He is also super knowledgeable and experienced, you would learn something interesting about yoga each lesson. I would highly recommend anyone who has interest and wants to start, or anyone who is looking for a challenge to practise with him!
James is not only a lovely energy to be around, he’s also a great and patient teacher. As someone new to ashtanga, I grew to love it because of his classes - his love for it shows in the way he conducts classes. My favourite moment is at the end of class - not because of what you think! - when he invites us to bow and thank all the Teachers who came before us. Yoga is a Life practice, and it’s more than poses or exercise - it’s about mind-body-heart connection. This is not how everyone views it, but it’s what resonates with me - and I’m so happy to have a teacher who teaches with this view.
I am so grateful to James and would strongly recommend his classes to anyone, at any level. James creates a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for everyone gently pushing you to try a bit harder each time. I really love the zoom online in the comfort of my home & his ability to correct my poses as well keep me motivated & honest.. I did start with a non- committed mindset but since joining I’m completely addicted.. it’s made me rethink my lifestyle and begin changes to improve myself. Thanks James it’s one of the best decisions I have made!

I've been attending James' classes for over a year. I've tried yoga classes at many studios but his Hatha classes are second to none in my books. I also really enjoyed a meditation class led by him on Zoom.

First class with Naski was over Zoom, but very quickly you forget you're at home and feel like she's right next to you guiding your every move and breath. She's really attentive and accommodating, and through gentle yet firm instruction provides an immersive virtual yoga class. Cheers!
Learning with Naski, I learned that yoga is a personal journey and what most resonates with you depends on your own unique personality. I learned the graceful gentleness posture had to practice and all benefits we gain when practice yoga correctly. She gives clear instructions and able to keep her practice according to different level of students. Her class always feels thoughtful. I feel blessed to have learned from her!
Naski has never failed to share the positive energy during the practice and just love the vibes! Every yoga session with her is so refreshing and I got so much improvement since I started practicing with her. Some times the class is a bit hardcore for me but she works within our levels and helps us to work beyond our limits gradually. Looking forward to her class as usual!
Excellent instructor in motivating someone with sedentary lifestyle. She let me understand and enjoy yoga. Very patience for a beginner like myself who knows nothing. Her instruction and pose are clear for me to follow. I do see changes in my attitude toward excerising, mentally more optimistic in general and forgetting that my muscle feel stronger. I would highly recommend Naski because her instruction flows very nicely. It is smooth, clear, concise. Her cues allow me to know what she wants me to do next, enabling me to be engaged mentally and physically the whole time. Her voice, volume, and tone is perfect and create a great atmosphere.
Naski also encourages and guides her students to new limits, which has you leaving her class with a sense of gratitude for practicing. I could see changes of my body and shapes ever since I started my practising with Naski. Its blessed to have a certified teacher like her in Peculiar Yogi!
Flow
Love JT's pace, tone, and clear instructions for all the Asanas throughout the Flow class. If you're up for a challenge and looking to sweat buckets, definitely attend her sessions. The background music at the start and end of the class is also a nice touch to get you into the mood for yoga after an exhausting day or week. Cheers!

Back to Basics simply refreshing with Kay! I am able to correct my poses once again as some have been out of alignment!
I have always been very wary of yoga - until I met Kay! She has been the sole reason that my whole perception has changed in a very positive way. Kay has a calm, soothing and incredibly friendly personality and she genuinely cares about her students. She adapts her classes to fit your individual needs, where possible, and she always provides a useful explanation before each pose and exercise, to make you aware of which muscles are being used etc. I thoroughly recommend Kay's classes for anyone who needs to stretch away their muscle tensions, cares and worries. Kay presents the practice of yoga in a simple way, paired with great care and attention. She instinctively adapts her classes and instruction to suit the individual needs of her students, irrespective of level. Kay has a genuine passion for yoga, and for sharing that passion with others, in weaving together the connection of mind, body, and soul. Following our sessions, I feel at ease, present, completely STRETCHED OUT ... and rejuvenated =) Namaste.
Kay is very clear and detailed in her instructions, making it easier for beginners like me to follow the moves and poses. She takes care to draw attention to the muscle parts that we are stretching so that we know whether we are doing it right. My backache that flared up this morning is now gone! I believe the stretching helped a lot, wow!
Kay creates a comfortable and accepting space for beginner yogis who may feel intimidated by pre-conceived notions of yoga being only for highly flexible people. Her instructions are clear and concise, and the flow of her class allows you to ease into the poses while exploring parts of your body and muscles which you may have not have been aware before. Go try her class and you will find yourself looking forward to the next time you hit the mat again.
Kay is very clear in her instructions. The class is well paced for beginners and good for deep stretching. She has a calming voice :) enjoyed the session! Namaste
I enjoyed my stretch class with Kay. She is clear in her instructions and will point it out to me if I am doing something incorrect. The class is challenging at the beginning, but relaxing at the end. It helps to calm my soul down after a tiring day. Thanks for the awesome class!
I like Kay's class because she's always looking out for your alignment, making sure you're getting the most out of each pose. She'll guide you through making small adjustments that make huge differences in how you feel in the pose. I learned a thing or two more about my body after the alignment cues. Thank you!
Ashtanga Basics, Ashtanga Half Pri, Hatha With Inversions
Enjoyed Ashley's Hatha class - there's a good balance between challenging sequences and short, active breaks to keep us going. He's very encouraging, making sure to give enough attention especially to beginners or not-so-advanced yogis. And it's not a complete class with Ashley if there are no inversions! Those who love the upside-down world will definitely love his ending poses. Cheers!

Jennifer is my first yoga teacher. I used to think yoga is all about ‘ohm’, relaxing and doing exotic poses. Never did I realise practising yoga can really stretch and make my body muscles work hard. Jennifer is very patient, responsible and always punctual for her lessons. She always ensures all her students to have the correct posture before proceeding to the next step as she emphasises that an incorrect posture can lead to injuries. She challenges and encourages us to stretch beyond our limits. Knowing that my core muscle is very weak, during our personal practice, she customises the pilate lesson to suit my level and body structure. She notices every single slight improvement that I made which encourages me to go further. I truly enjoy Jennifer’s lessons and I highly recommend her to any beginner Yoga or Pilates practitioners.
Started my virtual lessons via zoom with Jennifer in June during the circuit breaker period. While she is new in her role of an instructor, and started off a little incongruent in initial few practices, for someone like me who have problem associating left and right quickly, I fumbled a little. However, her self-awareness is hight and she quickly become more coordinated and confidently gave clear instructions with constant encouragement and push the practitioners to stretch our limits. She is very observant and provides honest feedback to correct the practitioner’s poses both via virtual and physical lessons. She is also very patient in sharing the benefit of each pose to specific muscles/parts of the body. Jennifer is very passionate and patience and I feel extremely comfortable learning and working out together with her. Her lessons are also interesting, she takes extra effort to plan different exercises switching between Pilates and Yoga with different focus.
Hi Jen, I wanna thank you so much for the yoga lessons! You have made yoga so easy to follow and fun! I really love how smoothing your voice is, which really have helped me relaxed during the supposingly painful stretches and poses. Thanks to you I am able to find back my flexibility again!
Jennifer is very reliable and a professional attitude. I feel very motivated through the lesson, thanks to her warm pushing and easy going way being. Everytime at the beginning I think today I can’t do it, but at the end I always manage and feel good. The poses I like has changed during practice sometimes I like poses that I didn’t like at the beginning. Why? I like downward facing dog a lot, gives me a break from the hard exercise. Some poses I like now because I can feel I have improved. I think I have improved a lot. I feel much stronger and more flexible. My overall posture has improved. I like it a lot, if I don’t practice it feels like something is missing.
Each of your class is constructed with different options to cater for individual to perform according to their own ability. I’ve learned something new in every one of your classes. Your sequence help me feel confident and move safely through poses and build strength and body awareness while promoting healthy muscles and joints. I have a better understanding on how to move properly especially when I am still nursing an ankle injury. Your class are designed to help me engage my muscles and other area of the body you are focusing on that day, when I leave I feel as if that part of my body is functioning at its absolute best. My favourite pose is the ‘Chair pose’ it strengthen my hip flexors, ankles, calves, and back. My physic also focusing to strengthen my calves and hips therefore the chair pose certainly compliment my treatment. I really appreciate your enthusiasm for teaching and preparedness of each class and I fully understand is not easy to conduct a virtual class. Thank you for challenging me and helping me to explore virtual classes in a new way. I am thankful that you are the one that guide me and I definitely feel stronger now.
Enjoyed Jennifer's flow class because of her energy in leading the class through each sequence. She gives variations for all levels, but also tries to push you just a bit past your limits to improve. There's a right amount of challenge and rests throughout the class, making it friendly for beginners and intermediate yogis. Cheers!

I literally just took my very first Ashtanga Basics class (I was so nervous the night before) and it was with Shally. I really liked how she had such a calm and pleasant demeanour. Her instructions were super clear and she was incredibly encouraging (even when she saw me do a belly flop!!). Thanks for such an invigorating Friday morning session, Shally :)
